The school will prepare the health profile of every child enrolled in the school with the help of the local health centres and the community to study the issues related to obesity in the children and take effective measures to curb the problem by engaging them in regular array of outdoor physical activities, games and sports through the additional facilities created in the school campus by 2025.

Dear Bosconians and well-wishers, Rev. Fr. Surjit Tiga
Hello there! Welcome to Don Bosco School, Silchar. DBSS has already embarked on a path to rejuvenating itself after a huge set back during the past two years due to COVID- 19. Hope the end of tinny but deadly virus may come soon.
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. Hence change can be scary, but you know what is scarier…allowing fear to stop you from growing, evolving and progressing. We are little or big champions and therefore we need to forge ahead with convictions that we shall bring positive changes in our outlook towards self, others and environment. Therefore to spearhead the session of 2022-23 we have coined the theme of this academic year as CHAMPIONS OF CHANGE.
When leading change, it is important to actually be there. We have to be visible and lead from the front lines to bring about changes at all sphere. We need to communicate results, look for resistance, and ensure that the change is being reinforced. It is very difficult to be a part-time champion. We must have enough courage to be an effective champion of change. Do you wish to be a part of it- if yes…. come and join DBSS.
