History of Don Bosco English Medium School: Don Bosco Society pioneered to bring quality education to the remotest regions of the world. Seven decades long Don Bosco School at Azimganj (Madhyamic School) served the local children with excellent education and has looked after the educational requirements of the needy. But it has been a dream project of the Salesian Society to have an English Medium School that will address the demands of the times. The aim is to give quality education with affordability so that students can prepare themselves for the requirements of a future that we can foresee as a far more challenging one. The Founder Body of the Society decided to open an English Medium School and the preparations started in 2018. On April 15th 2019, the School opened its premises for the students for the first time. During the first year, our School started with LKG, UKG and Class I classes. Class II was added in 2020, and in 2021 class III section commenced.
RECENT HISTORY
Class 4 started from April 2022. A state of the art Computer Lab, A well furnished A.V Room and a 2nd Language Class room were added to the existing infrastructure in order to give better education to children. Meanwhile, the construction of a school building for DBEMS started from 19th February, 2022.
Aim of The Institution: The aim of the institution is to impart sound value based education by forming in the students habits of piety, virtue, discipline and self-reliance during the years of their studies. The method of education followed in the school is the preventive system taught and practised by St. John Bosco. It is based on reason, religion and loving kindness. The school seeks to form the young through education into men of character, competence, compassion and commitment who will foster uprightness in public life. Special attention is given to ensure a high standard of morality and discipline in the school.

(b) a place which serves as a foundation for the future leaders of the society (c) an unyielding champion of excellence, service, equity, justice, student engagement, accountability and collaboration.
Here the educator and the educated join hands to mould intellectually competent, morally upright, socially committed and spiritually inspired students capable of building a more humane social order. The motto of the school: "Virtue and Knowledge", showcases the moral and ethical requirement of a student and his quest for knowledge whereby he can develop a broad minded vision of life.
