The School comes as a dream project in the Bi-centenary Celebrations of the Birth of its founder St. John Bosco. It is in this perspective that Don Bosco Krishnanagar has conceived the idea of providing better opportunities for the people in and around our city of Krishnanagar. inculcating moral and social values for the benefit of society. Don Bosco School is established and administered by the Registered Society of the Salesian Province of Kolkata (Northern India). It is exclusively a Minority Educational Institution, belonging to the Catholic Church. Provision is also made for the admission of non-catholic students. The School aims to prepare the students for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian Secondary Certificate (ISC) Examination, New Delhi.
