The Salesian Society in India: The Salesians of Don Bosco began their operations in India way back in 1906. Its services are offered through 28 colleges, which include 3 Engineering colleges, over 161 Technical schools, a large network of High Schools and scores of Non-Formal Technical and 4 Agricultural Colleges, spread across the country, covering the entire spectrum of Social Development. The Salesians have their own University in Guwahati in the North East India. In the state of Goa the Promoter’s have 1 Professional Degree College in the heart of Panjim city, an Engineering College at Fatorda (Near Margao), 4 Goa State Board Schools, 3 Higher Secondary Schools, 2 National Institute of Open Schooling and two non-formal technical schools.

Vision: Goa Salesian Society[Don Bosco] is focused on youth empowerment through knowledge and skills. Its Don Bosco College of Agriculture envisages to be a training cum R & D centre for Goa and neighbouring states of the Konkan region with special emphasis on youth.
