Fathers Bryce Rodrigues SDB and Christovan Cardozo SDB ordained priests in Goa

Goa- Two young Salesians Deacons Bryce Rodrigues and Christovan Cardozo were ordained priests of Christ by the Archbishop of Goa and Daman, Rev. Filipe Neri Ferrao in the presence of the Salesian Provincial of Panjim, Father Felix Fernandes and a host of priests, religious and laity at a well organised and prayerful liturgy held at the Patrocino Chapel of Benaulim, Goa on December 18, 2019.

The little village of Benaulim in South Goa district of Salcette woke up to chiming of the church bells announcing the grand religious event of Ordination to priesthood of two of its dear sons to Christ in the Salesian order of Don Bosco. Acknowledging the gifts of grace the Archbishop of Goa and Daman Rev. Filipe Neri Ferrao thanked the people of the village for giving twenty eight plus two young men to serve the Lord of the Vinyard, taking the total to 30 priests from the village and the parents of the new ordained priest for sowing the seeds of the vocation first. INP Provincial Father Fernandes also expressed his gratitude to the parents of the newly ordained and all those who accompanied them through the years of formations to lead them to the altar of the Lord. The prayerful and devote liturgical service was attended by over 700 people from the village of Benaulim as they witnessed the young Salesians of the Panjim province prostrated in humble submission to the Lord of the vineyard as they pledged their life to serve Him alone in the way laid out by the Father and Founder Don Bosco, expressed meaningfully in the theme they chosen your grace my strength by Fr. Bryce and to be His hands and feet by Father Christovan. The theme chosen for their ordination was Your Grace is sufficient for me to be His hands and feet.
