With deep gratitude and joy, the Salesian Family celebrates the Vatican’s announcement that nine Polish Salesians martyred during World War II will be beatified, joining the ranks of the Church’s officially recognized martyrs. Pope Leo XIV has approved the beatification of these priests, who gave their lives in the Nazi concentration camps of Auschwitz and Dachau, remaining faithful to their vocation and mission even unto death.
The serene coastal town of Uttan transformed into a vibrant hub of youthful energy and spiritual awakening during “Camp Uttan, 2025.” Organized under the theme “Bosco Ke Saath Zindagi Mast” - Life is awesome with Bosco, this special initiative by Don Bosco Makarpura, Vadodara, brought together 35 spirited young campers from Don Bosco Makarpura, Rosary Church Fatehgunj, and Don Bosco Alirajpur.
In a bold step toward digital evangelization, the Salesians of Don Bosco in the INB Province gathered for a transformative Media Seminar focused on equipping religious communicators to become “digital disciples.” Led by Fr Arockia Selvakumar SDB, the seminar emphasized the urgent need to move beyond passive media consumption and embrace content creation as a mission tool.
Don Bosco Parish, Oodlabari, held its Annual Retreat from 21st to 23rd November at Pathibari tea garden, drawing over 3,000 faithful from its 14 sub-centres. Led by Fr. Lijo VC and his team, the retreat offered a deeply moving experience of prayer, healing, and renewal.

In a pioneering initiative that bridges technology and compassion, students from Don Bosco Infotech, Kilinochchi, led a transformative half-day workshop on student mental wellness for 30 principals and counselors from government schools in the Jaffna region. Produced by BOSCOM, Missionary Animation, and Salesian Family South Asia under the SPCSA, the video is a powerful testimony of resilience, trust, and God’s loving presence in suffering.
The Divyadaan Salesian Institute of Philosophy held a transformative two-day workshop on Migrant Ministry from October 13–14, organized by BIS Mumbai and led by Fr Francis Bosco SDB, Director of Don Bosco for Migrants (DB4M). The event brought together Salesian brothers and experts to explore the complex realities of migration and the Church’s pastoral response.

Casimir Raj, SDB, as a Member of the Tamil Nadu Commission for Protection of Child Rights (TNCPCR). Bosco emphasizes that India's economy relies heavily on the hard work of migrant and informal workers, who often remain invisible despite their critical role in shaping the nation's progress.
