Don Bosco Job Placement Network (JPN) - India regulates and coordinates information regarding career guidance and job placement services by Salesians of Don Bosco in South Asia.

Under the theme "Fostering a Culture of Vocation," the Vocational Guidance team of Don Bosco Youth Animation South Asia organized an event for vocation guidance coordinators and promoters at Don Bosco Institute in Guwahati from 14th to 17th July 2023. The gathering aimed to unite the participants in their mission of promoting a Salesian youth ministry with vocation at its core.

The workshop at Don Bosco Novitiate, Kandy, Sri Lanka, on the basics of Salesian Youth Ministry proved to be a transformative experience for the students in formation and practical trainees. The workshop focused on empowering students in Formation and Practical trainees by introducing them to the Salesian Youth Ministry framework. Led by Father Gabriel Karunaraj, Coordinator for Vocational Guidance in South Asia, the event facilitated understanding of today's youth and taught effective methods of accompanying them.

Don Bosco Vazhikaati JPN, in collaboration with Dharmapuri Diocese Youth Commission, organized a Job Fair at the Pastoral Centre Dharmapuri. Around 172 job seekers registered, and among them, 130 were selected.

Out of the total job opportunities provided through Don Bosco Job Placement Network 42% women have entered the labour market  with formal jobs, adequate wages, safer and secure working conditions.

Don Bosco Technical School, Shillong partnering with AIDA Don Bosco Job Placement Service organized a job placement drive for young people who are qualified in skill training.

As a response to the widespread unemployment among the educated youth especially in the aftermath of the COVID pandemic, the Bangalore Rural Educational and Development Society (BREADS) through the Don Bosco Job Placement Network (JPN) Bangalore, collaborated with Don Bosco institutions in Karnataka and Kerala to organize job fairs.
