Don Bosco Veedu (house) is a venture by the Salesians to educate and empower the deprived and the underprivileged of the society in Thiruvananthapuram.

The Salesian Province of Tiruchy (INT) released a new book on Mamma Margaret in the Tamil language authored by Father Dr John Dharmanathan SDB on February 18, 2022. The translated work, based on the highly researched work of Don Teresio Bosco, `Vita di Mamma Margherita La Mamma di Don Bosco`, published in 2005, is set in the background of the coming Synod.

On 05 August, on the Foundation Day of the Salesian Province of Tiruchy, `Retreat-Don Bosco` Yercaud completed the 21-day training course in Nursery and Nature Preservation `Project CALLS` supported by Jugend Eine Welt of Austria and Don Bosco Network South Asia. Through this programme, people got to Learn-Work-Earn their livelihood.
Yercaud being a hill station, people earn their living through tourism and the travel industry. With the lockdown continuously extended, the people, especially in the hill-station left with nothing to survive, managed to learn, work and earn through the Shevaroyhills Tribal Development Institute [STDi].

The Salesians of Don Bosco at Bharoul-Chakraghatti, East Nepal, managing 02 schools are conducting classes for 1500 students using 42 hired rooms, each called a community classroom. Every community centre with 10 students in attendance help to overcome the COVID-19 restrictions. The entire 46 member teaching faculty of both schools and the ancillary staff are ensuring the sustained consistency of this innovative educative method which started on 16 July 2020.

Mumbai Salesians` Dominic Savio Andheri-Mumbai Alumni [Past Pupils], scored a century [100 days] of relentless COVID-19 Food Relief, reaching out to 01 million at 65 locations in Mumbai, as part of the `Feed My Mumbai` campaign.
With the intention to ensure that no one sleeps hungry, freshly cooked nutritious meals to the disadvantaged needy were distributed by these past-pupils, volunteers and Salesians, stepping out of their homes bravely for a noble cause. The significant milestone was reached on 12 July 2020, by 300 PPDS (Past Pupils of St Dominic Savio)Corona Warriors.
