Seven New Priests at the Service of Young for Salesian Province of Tiruchy (INT)

The Salesian Province of Annai Velankanni, Tiruchy, is blessed with seven newly ordained priests: Benjamin James, Christopher Susai, Anantharaj Santhanam, Arockiaraj Irudayaraj, Danistanraj Iruthayadhason, Richard Vivek Kumar and David Antony. Most Rev. Antony Pappusamy DD, Archbishop of Madurai, ordained the candidates to the priesthood. They will work on the mission for the young and the needy in various capacities in the province.
The ordination ceremony was held at the newly blessed Salesian residence, Don Bosco School, Surya Nagar, Madurai, on April 9, 2021. Father Agilan Sarprasadam SDB, Provincial of Tiruchy Province, presented the candidates to the Archbishop. The celebration had the presence of priests, religious, parents and relatives of the new priests.
Father Arul Maran, Vice Provincial, and Father Amaladoss, Economer, coordinated the ceremony with Lourdes Shrine Community and Don Bosco ITI Community, Madurai.
