Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Seawoods, took a major step in guiding its students toward informed and inspired career choices with its grand Career Fair — Path Finder 2025. The event brought together experts from diverse professional fields, universities, and industries to help students explore opportunities beyond conventional career paths.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Dr. Wilson, Principal of Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Hotel and Tourism Management Studies, along with Principal Mrs. Kalyani Choudary and members of the school management. The inaugural act featured an engaging performance by Class XI Science students, who creatively depicted the world of Forensic Science — setting the tone for a day of curiosity and discovery.

A key highlight was the panel discussion titled “Beyond Degrees: Building a Career through Skill and Passion.” The distinguished panel included Ms. Shagun Gaur, veteran finance educator with experience at IIT Bombay, IIM Indore, NMIMS, and TISS; Ms. Amala George, General Counsel at Legality; and Mr. Shreyaan Daga, CEO of OLL and the only Indian featured on both Shark Tank India and Kaun Banega Crorepati and moderated by Tr. Rinki Bal, the discussion emphasized the importance of adaptability, innovation, and self-driven learning in today’s dynamic job landscape.

Following the panel, students interacted with representatives from top educational institutions, including GITAM Liberal Education, FLAME University, Amity University, Vijaybhoomi University, IISM, ITM Institute of Design and Media, MAAC, and Bharati Vidyapeeth College, among others.

The fair also hosted a series of interactive skill workshops covering diverse fields — from Artificial Intelligence (Dr. Reuben Buthello) and Stock Market Careers (Mr. Yogesh Gadhave) to Fashion, Aviation, Hospitality, and Personality Development. Each session provided hands-on insights into real-world professions and emerging career domains.

Students expressed great enthusiasm for the event. “I was amazed by the variety of options available,” shared a Class XII student. Another remarked, “This fair gave me clarity and confidence about my career choices.”
