Drawing from the Gospel of Mark, he illustrated how authentic discipleship involves listening with humility, serving with compassion—especially the young and the poor, and living with steadfast hope in God’s promise of eternal life.

The retreat offered a rhythm of daily meditations, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Eucharistic celebrations, and periods of silence, fostering a contemplative environment for reflection and renewal. Fr. Jose reminded participants that religious life must be anchored in the light of eternity and urged them to renew their consecration with fidelity, joy, and pastoral zeal.
