The AIDA–Don Bosco Job Placement Network (DB JPN), Dimapur, organised the DB Job Fair 2026 at Salesian College of Higher Education, Kuda Village, Half Nagarjan. The fair brought employers and aspiring professionals together to create career opportunities and improve youth employability.

The job fair was organised in collaboration with Salesian College of Higher Education, Dimapur; Salesian Cooperators–Dimapur Province; Don Bosco Youth Empowerment Services (DBYES), Dimapur Province; the District Employment Exchange (Model Career Centre), Dimapur; the National Career Service Centre (NCSC) for SC/ST, Kohima; and the National Career Service Centre (NCSC) for Differently Abled, Dimapur.

The initiative connected employers and job seekers, giving young professionals a platform to interact directly with recruiters, participate in interviews, and explore opportunities across multiple sectors. The organisers also aimed to widen access to careers within Nagaland, across India, and in selected international destinations.

Around 70 job seekers from various districts of Nagaland and neighbouring states attended the event. Participants included fresh postgraduates, graduates, diploma holders, skilled professionals, and candidates seeking better career prospects.

The recruitment drive featured organisations from diverse sectors, enabling candidates to explore multiple employment options at a single venue. Participating recruiters included Talent Acquaintance, Employment Providers, Reliance Jio, Flywayy Dimapur, SBI Life Insurance, Ohaa International School, and Tolins Tyres Pvt. Ltd.

While most recruiters conducted face-to-face interviews, Ohaa International School and Tolins Tyres Pvt. Ltd. held virtual interviews, allowing candidates to experience online recruitment processes and broadening the range of employment opportunities.

Beyond recruitment, the job fair also served as a career development platform, helping participants improve interview skills, understand current industry expectations, and build confidence through direct interaction with employers.

The event concluded with 36 candidates shortlisted for the next stages of the recruitment process, underscoring the demand for organised employment initiatives in Northeast India.
