DB-ACE, Chinchwad, celebrated the Convocation Ceremony of its first batch of students who completed the Agentic AI course — a milestone initiative designed to upskill working professionals in the dynamic field of Artificial Intelligence.

The weekend course, conducted every Saturday and Sunday, catered to Pune’s working youth, offering them an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and stay abreast of technological innovations. The inaugural batch comprised 25 students who underwent rigorous training under the mentorship of Mr. Cladius Fernando, Principal Architect, CTO Unit, Persistent Systems Limited.

The ceremony was graced by Fr. Ashley Miranda, Provincial of the Mumbai Province, Mr. Arun Bhist, Senior Vice President of Knorr-Bremse (Sales and Marketing), and Ms. Vrushali from Knorr-Bremse. The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and the singing of the Don Bosco Anthem, symbolizing enlightenment and unity.

In his welcome address, Fr. Anton D’Souza, Director of DB-ACE, extended warm greetings to the dignitaries and families. He highlighted the collaborative vision of Don Bosco Chinchwad and Knorr-Bremse in empowering youth through advanced, skill-based education. He also commended Mr. Fernando for his dedicated mentorship and expertise.

Delivering the keynote, Fr. Ashley Miranda emphasized the importance of lifelong learning in the rapidly evolving technological landscape. At the same time, Mr. Bhist lauded the institute’s efforts in preparing students for future-ready careers. Certificates were then awarded to the graduates, with special recognition given to the top three performers.

Students shared heartfelt reflections on their learning journey, praising Mr. Fernando’s blend of discipline and encouragement. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Ankita Pandit, who expressed gratitude to Don Bosco Management, Knorr-Bremse, and the faculty for fostering innovation and career advancement.
