The Salesians, faculty and students at Don Bosco College Angadikadavu are bracing the Covid-19 crisis, amidst lockdown and physical distancing, to reach out to the needy with food kits. Each provision kit worth Rs. 1000/- contains rice, wheat flour, pulses, oil, vegetables and other edibles for a 07 days. About 20 deserving families have been helped thus far in the vicinity of the College campus that currently functions as a quarantine care centre under the District Administration of Kannur.

Previously, during the floods in Kerala and in parts of Karnataka in 2018-19, too BREADS had coordinated relief work on a massive scale. This Covid-19 response outreach by Don Bosco College Angadikadavu in its mission to the poor by making aailable provision kits, is also supported by BREADS.
