Don Bosco College Angadikadavu for Covid-19 Quarantine

Don Bosco College and Hostel facilities at Angadikadavu has been taken possession of under the stewardship of the District Collector of Kannur, as a measure to prevent the community transmission of Covid-19. This will primarily ensure that people travelling to Kerala from Karnataka, will be quarantined at this campus.
Healthcare volunteers sanitised the area before the arrival of 31 persons, including 02 women and 02 infants. More persons are expected in the coming days, as many people are on an exodus to Kerala from other parts of India.
The college situated 10 kilometres from the Karnataka border, is under police surveillance assisted by volunteers. Food and other essential medical attention is provided for the quarantined. The persons quarantined will remain at this facility for 14 days cared for dedicated healthcare workers. 07 Salesians, part of the College management reside on the same campus, but are at a safe distance with adequate precautions.
