It aims at theological formation, with a special focus on the Indian context, of candidates to the Catholic ministerial priesthood, particularly of the Salesian provinces of Chennai and Tiruchy in Tamil Nadu. It welcomes students belonging to other Provinces and Religious Orders and Congregations.
