Salesian Co-operators of Bangalore Launch Family Ministry

The Salesian Co-operators of Kristu Jyoti College Unit launched Family Ministry package by releasing the pamphlet, 10 Tips for Catholic Families (based on the Pope Francis` teaching in Amoris Laetitia) on 21 October 2017.

On this day the co-operators renewed their promises in the house of a Salesian Co-operator, Mr. Kuncheria. This was in view of the decision taken by South Zone Conference of Salesian Co-operators in India to focus on family ministry. The pamphlet was sponsored by the couple, Mr Antony Samy and Mrs. Santhakumari of the KJC Unit. Father Gilbert Choondal, the delegate of Salesian Co-operators of Bangalore Province briefed the gathering on the purpose of the pamphlet saying, ``The 10 Tips are to bring a Catholic change in our families beginning with the families of Co-operators.`` The translations of the `10 Tips` in Malayalam and Kannada will be available for the states of Kerala and Karnataka to reach maximum number of families in the province.
